Last Month’s Full Moon
A fiery Sagittarius Full Moon accompanies our Being on Thursday, June 12, 2014, 11:11pm, CDT. The Moon at 22*06 visionary Sagittarius is 180* opposite the rational Gemini Sun at 22*06. The Full Moon is the peak blossoming phase of the eight Moon phases; whatever energy was seeded during the New Moon phase is now visible in our lives…a creation of some sort. It also shows us where we will need to find a balance of the polarity between the two signs. Know when to talk, know when to listen.
Expansive, understanding, outspoken, generous Sag is on the search for life’s meaning, expressing faith, idealism, tolerance, wisdom & good will. A retrograde period, which happens about 3X a year for Mercury, offers more opportunity to process what has been learned; a time of review, reflection, reconsider, re-orienting, re-evaluating, sometimes re-doing…hopefully we can then begin a new cycle mentally refreshed.

Cosmo Contemplating the Weather
~Everyone has all the signs & all the planets somewhere in their birthchart~
Tuesday, early morning 3:28 am, CST, December 17, 2013… the LAST month of 2013! We’ll experience a doozy of a Gemini Full Moon. The Sun (conscious energy) at 25*36 adventurous, forward-moving, visionary, optimistic Sagittarius is exactly opposite Moon (instinctual energy) at 25*36 rational, inquisitive, here-and-now, mentally oriented Gemini, just a week before the holidays of Christmas & Kwanzaa.
The combination of expressive, communicative, adaptable, versatile, curious, diverse Gemini (more mental than emotional) Moon opposing expansive, idealistic, hopeful, benevolent, outspoken, truth-seeking, tolerant & fiery Sagittarius Sun requires both to work together integrating a purposeful focusing of skills & talents in order to create what we want/need in our lives & on our planet.
Trees at Farmer’s Market
The polarity between two opposing signs during the Full Moon always brings a bit of excitement, but this one is loaded with tension. Courageous, action-oriented, impulsive, passionate MARS is currently at 5* social Libra, the sign of relationship & the urge to create & maintain harmony/balance, which needs constant adjustment as life moves along. Mars is self-involved & Libra is partnership-oriented.
Aggressive Mars makes two stressful aspects to both powerful, unpredictable, liberating, disruptive Uranus & concentrated, intense, purging Pluto (•who are still in a strong, challenging alignment each other) during this Full Moon. Could be troublesome. I am going to practice patience, especially before I speak, & listen more. If it’s not -30 below I may go out snowshoeing (with another-Libra) to burn off some of that Mars grrr..age.
Forty Below
The Warrior, MARS, also forms an uncomfortable aspect to visionary, compassionate & spiritual or delusional, deceptive, escapist Neptune…so all three outer planets are involved with this Full Moon! Uranus, Neptune & Pluto definitely affect the masses; these 3 universal transmitters pertain to the collective unconscious realms. They symbolize urges toward development which are related to soul consciousness, rather than personal consciousness. However Mars (what I desire) operates on a very personal level….so be forewarned.
On the Full Moon day…Electrical, rebellious Uranus, the shock-jock, turns Direct at 8* active, fearless, spontaneous Aries on Dec. 17th, 2013, at 11:39am. We can expect the unexpected. Our nervous systems may be highly frazzled for a few days. Do what you can to de-stress & help create a loving, calm atmosphere.
Winter Solstice: Saturday, December 21, 2013, 11:11am (hmm..) CST: The first day of Winter occurs when our solar sphere moves into the very 1st degree of Capricorn (there are 30 degrees in each of the 12 electromagnetic fields). More light! Hooray! Later in the day the harmonizing planet of love, beauty & values…Venus, turns Retrograde (backward) at 29* Capricorn through Jan. 31, 2014. It will present an opportunity to go over past relationship issues, who & what we value…another chance to work things out.

Spring has Sprung in the Northland

Saturday, June 8th, 2013, 10:57 am, CDT: The 3 eclipses are over, but here comes another New Moon! Both Sun (conscious self) & Moon (unconscious self) are at 18* adaptable, diverse, verbal Gemini spotlighting communication & mobility in multiple forms. A New Moon symbolizes the beginning of a new cycle…this one is loaded with a variety of interactions, mental agility & new experiences.
We also have daring, fearless, spontaneous Mars at 5* Gemini with the Sun & Moon at 18* Gemini; a little further ahead is expansive, optimistic, generous Jupiter at 26* Gemini. Many thoughts, ideas & even actions pertaining to daily life are constantly popping up, changing or morphing quickly into something else…all compete for my attention, begging to be acted upon. Wednesday, November 28th, 2012, 8:46 am, CST: We have a Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse experience with our radiating Sun at 6*47 optimistic Sagittarius exactly opposite responsive Moon at 6*47 diverse Gemini. A Full Moon represents a period of illumination within the Moon cycle. We are filled with enormous creativity, as we bring inner images into actual form & give birth to ourselves, then give it away, share it & inspire others.
The day before, on Tuesday, Nov. 27th, assertive, warrior Mars is conjunct (same degree) cathartic, transforming Pluto at 8* structured Capricorn. This very powerful potently destructive &/or potentially revitalizing planetary duo is also grating against the original, illuminating & unpredictable Uranus in a stressful, tense, dynamic 90* square aspect. Expect the unexpected. Many innovative, liberating ideas could take form. Mercury also turned Direct on Mon. Nov.26th.
Join the Cloud
The Lunar Eclipse, (visible best in Alaska, Hawaii, Australia & East Asia) usually occurs twice a year during Full Moons; the participants line up in a row with Earth exactly in-between Sun & Moon. (I’ll spare you my hand-done illustration) It is a high-frequency cosmic doorway; the Sun symbolizes the future, Earth the present & Moon represents the past.
Enthusiastic, philosophical, truth-seeking, intuitive Sagittarius Sun & curious, versatile, communicative, logical Gemini Moon are at the exact same degree of the zodiac (6*47) but in opposing signs. They work with the same questions/issues of the polarity but from two different viewpoints asking for a resolution of conflict into unity. We may be exploring some raw emotional depths now &/or become suddenly aware of things previously out of sight or mind. Ground yourself, listen, listen, listen & speak with care, create some space to process if possible during these warp-speed times. (It will continue to accelerate)

Both alert, knowledgeable Gemini & adventurous, out-spoken Sagittarius are mutable signs; in other words they are flexible, able to effectively integrate the outer world with the inner space by adapting energies to changing conditions. This adaptable capability adjusts in order to harmonize, connecting & contacting whoever, whenever & whatever is needed. Over-emphasis of mutability results in too much vacillating & restlessness. An individual could potentially suffer from excess worry/nervous exhaustion. The extreme opposite, the immutable (inflexible) person, could be likened to ” the rigid tree that is toppled by a strong gale”. Avoid dissipating your vital force during this dynamic alignment. (I write these statements so I can read them again to remind myself.)

Many Leaflets Make a Fern
New Moon, Tuesday, June 19th, 2012, 10:02 am, CDT: both Sun (masculine yang) & Moon (feminine yin) are at 28*43 mentally adept Gemini, an inquisitive air-sign of adaptability, diversity & mobility…continually interacting & communicating. This Sun & Moon conjunction is opposite our Galactic Center at 27* Sagittarius (Sag signifies exploration, expansion)…don’t quite know how to interpret, but it undoubtedly has significance considering “As Above So Below”. The GC operates as a cosmic doorway into the unknown. Most of us realize or feel personal & collective energies/frequencies increasing dramatically although we still try to live our lives as we always have. Nervous systems (Mercury & Uranus) are definitely affected and many people are experiencing uncomfortable or unusual symptoms during this accelerated cellular alteration as we continue to evolve.
The New Moon phase initiates a new cycle, plunging into new experiences spontaneously… an opportunity for beginnings, birth of new forms, renewal …things felt or conceived of but as yet unseen, tapping into intuitive wisdom…so much creative potential! I will meditate for this.
Flowers & Birds Dispel Negative Energy
I like to be in nature to quiet my busy mind…helps me to be in the present, especially as Gemini, associated with energy transmitter Mercury, is speedy, restless & poised for flight at all times. The sign of the Twins is rational, logical, knowledgeable, verbal, intelligent, witty, fluent & articulate but can operate less skillfully as nervous, inconsistent, noncommittal, indecisive & impatient. I plan to meditate for sure. This is a yearly special cosmic event that relates to the peak occurance of light on Earth, an ancient sacred time of power.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR >+< June 24th, 2012: two outer planets, Uranus & Pluto, are higher octave transmitters symbolizing urges to develop multidimensional consciousness. Early Sunday morning, June 24th, high frequency, electric Uranus at 8*24 Aries makes an EXACT square (challenge, friction, tension) to the intense, concentrated power & core energy of Pluto at 8*24 Capricorn. I’m definitely meditating for the 24th!
Illuminating Uranus, thee Awakener, radically liberates us in unpredictable, erratic, unexpected, disruptive bolts of sudden change…these surprises keep the universe flexible & decondition us from the status quo. It is the revolutionary planet of freedom, independence, intuitive perceptivity, synchronicity, invention, genius, technology, originality, enlightenment & revelation. Nothing is predictable with Uranus.
Complex Pluto, the Transformer, is the planet of POWER…your power, their power, hidden matters, the subconscious, secrets, the underworld, power struggles, compulsion, obsession, etc. The manifestation of death, destruction, rebirth, metamorphosis, regeneration…the process on all levels of “bringing to the surface” unnecessary factors which impede growth & eliminating them…purging, cleansing, healing, forgiving, letting go…Pluto’s core energy is often mis-used for manipulation, domination or control of others. This potent energy, along with Uranus, relates to the development of soul consciousness. Pluto, esoterically, symbolizes the dual co-existing desire for either separation or return to the Source; self-empowerment aligned with the willingness to transform is an appropriate channel for intense Pluto…use the dynamic core of power within for self-transformation.
Whew! This is the first of 7 exact squares between these two planets; the next one is September 19th, 2012; two more take place in 2013, two in 2014 & the last in March of 2015. (see sidebar for more info on Uranus square Pluto.)

Sunday, May 20th, 2012: we experience the awesome Gemini New Moon/Solar Eclipse at 6:48 pm, CDT. Both Sun & Moon are exactly at 0*21 diverse Gemini, representing the dark & unseen phase of the Moon…our cosmic window is wide open to the subconscious world, focusing us totally within; touching upon ancient intuitive wisdom enabling access to the deep well of archetypal ideas just ready to emerge into consciousness.
New Moons represent new beginnings when our emotional Moon & purposeful Sun are at the same degree of a zodiac sign emphasizing the particular characteristics of that sign . We now need to be both receptive & conscious as we are planting new seeds & awaiting the amazing adventure!
Electromagnetic multifaceted Gemini is the witty, inquisitive, mental air-sign that pertains to observation, inventiveness, versatility, sharing & learning through information & communications, verbal fluency & flexible adaptability…loves the Immediate! Social Gemini needs on-going change, intellectual stimulation & constant variety. “The more unpredictable the message, the more information there is in it.” However, to quiet the mind may now be easier due to the energy of the Solar Eclipse.

A Solar Eclipse is a cosmic event that occurs during a close &/or exact New Moon when the Moon (the past) is positioned in-between the Earth (the present) & the Sun (the future). The lunar orb blocks out part of the sun’s light of consciousness, flashing us back into the past in order to integrate our emotions & feelings. What an opportunity to process the memories, conditioning & old patterns in order to more freely embrace the future! Hidden insights or unacknowledged achievements may also surface as part of this awakening unless we allow an incomplete, limited awareness to cloud our perspective between what to let go of & what to keep.
