Virgo New Moon Sept. 18, 2009 September 18, 2009

Posted by cosmicsense in astrology, New Moons.

Friday, Sept. 18th, 2009, 1:44pm CDT, we are in the energy path of both the Sun & Moon at 25*59 Virgo. A New Moon is the seed planting time of new beginnings. The creation or idea is not yet visible or manifested. This is a gestation period. What do you want to focus your energy on? What would you like to create to the best of your ability while you tangle with life?

Virgo is a mutable earth sign…flexible, adaptable, practical. The Virgo approach to life is the path of clarity; skillful, discerning, efficient, observant, organized, technical & disciplined. However it’s not all mental acuity, details, analyzing & computers. Virgo is connected to the earth; Mother Nature, healing, becoming whole (wholistic) and in balance with the natural world are all part of the conscientious Virgo MO.

Of course there are a few additional factors; Mercury, ruler of Virgo, as well as Gemini, is right next to the Sun & is currently still retrograde through September 29th. (see previous posts on that) Saturn is also 25* Virgo & sits next to the Moon so the whole group is opposing Uranus. (previous posts) Uranus shakes up everything & unpredictably!

Don’t forget powerful Pluto which is in a challenging square aspect to this New Moon party. Again read older posts if you want to review Plutonian transformative energies. Yikes!! Take good care of yourself like a nurturing mother, let go of judgments/perfectionism and BE FLEXIBLE. Nobody said it would be easy but we signed up for this.
