Late Friday evening, November 5th, 2010, at 11:52 pm, CDT, we are immersed in an intense New Moon with both Sun (will) & Moon (instinct) sitting intimately close together at 13*40 fixed, water-sign Scorpio, electromagnetic transmitter symbolizing birth, death, sexuality & transformation.

New Moon time… seeds for fresh beginnings are being planted but are not yet recognized. The mysterious deep, dark waters of Scorpio add to the hidden nature of this Moon even more.

Keep in mind that a fixed sign stabilizes & concentrates energy which moves inwardly; it is particularly determined & preserving &/or stubborn & resistant to change. The element water corresponds to the emotional realm of feelings. Water represents the energy and power of unconscious forces that motivate us. Sensitive, receptive, empathetic, compassionate & psychic qualities abound.

Powerful Scorpio can definitely collapse into secretive, moody, manipulative, jealous & controlling behavior because it feels…every ..single ..emotion.. intensely to the max! On the bright side the resourceful scorpion/eagle/phoenix is about transforming, regenerating, revitalizing, healing & renewal on every level, even cellular.

Mercury, the transmitter & receiver of information, is conjunct the New Moon in creative Scorpio…in-depth thoughts & heavy duty communications…no lighthearted flimflam here! With sensual Venus retrograde also in Scorpio (until it moves back into Libra on Nov. 8th) relationship issues from the past may still be foremost in our life. Partnership-oriented Venus also deals with self-worth, values & resources. (My last two blogs described more on the planet of love.)

Let the pressures of the past & present issues, problems & worries be alleviated. It’s primetime to facilitate self-transformation…perhaps your method of dealing with life’s continual string of stresses & roadblocks will change. You may practice a new way to handle challenges, especially now in communications. I tell myself “don’t scream…don’t swear…take a few breathes”…sometimes I cry (then I might get a headache)….now what did the Dali Lama say?

“If there is no solution to the problem then don’t waste time worrying about it. If there is a solution to the problem then don’t waste time worrying about it.” Amen to that.
