Libra New Moon: Wednesday, September 24th, 2014, at 1:13 am, CDT…both Sun (conscious self) & Moon (the unconscious) are sitting at the exact same degree of 1*08 in the electromagnetic field of refined, social, receptive, sensitive & intellectual air-sign Libra.
The cyclical New Moon phase signifies self-renewing energy of life/creation/vision.. the symbolic seed germinates; in the absence of light the vision is felt, not seen. Wherever the first degrees of active cardinal Libra are located in your birth chart is the area where new birth of some sort is happening at this time & space.
The scales are the glyph of Libra symbolizing balance; the peace-loving Libran part of us represents one’s inner equilibrium constantly re-adjusting with the outer world… or with the other… partners, relationships, the public, even open enemies. The sense of harmony desired is based on the awareness that all wholes are composed of complimentary halves. Procrastination & indecision are behaviors to address. Tranquility is achieved by will, not numbness & inattention…I know…I have a lot of Libra in my chart.

Venus, the goddess of harmony, beauty, love & the arts, is naturally associated with diplomatic Libra (and Taurus). It speaks to what we value most in relationships. Social justice is an extension of qualities of compromise, cooperation & commitment.
During this New Moon, Sol & Luna are cozying up with each other but they make no major aspects to any other energy transmitter! Very unusual…however, on Sept. 25th, we do have expansive, optimistic, adventurous & truth-seeking Jupiter at 15* creative, expressive, dynamic Leo making a flowing aspect to the rebellious, independent, unpredictable planet Uranus, the Awakener, at 15* fearless, energetic, confident Aries. Doorways will be opening to help us liberate ourselves from past limitations. This Jupiter/Uranus powerful upgrade in frequency happens two more times in 2015; this can change our perspective/ life in a flash.

Autumnal Equinox begins as the Sun moves into the first degree of Libra, Monday, September 22nd at 9:29 pm, CDT. This is the 1st day of Fall in the Northern Hemisphere.
The regenerative transformer of life, Pluto, turns Stationary Direct at 11* Capricorn 2 hours before the Equinox adding extreme intensity & complexity to the energies of the Libra New Moon. What an opportunity!!
•Mercury, our speedy transmitter that receives & communicates information, turns Retrograde (backward) at 2* Scorpio on October 4th & changes back to Direct motion on Oct. 25th at 17* Libra.
There are times I feel like I catch brief glimpses of a time warp? sort of scenario, or something unexplainable although I’m aware of a strong sense that it’s not in this dimension…mysterious & let the mystery be!

Tuesday, early morning, 2:42 am, CDT, April 15, 2014: the exact time of the social & intellectual Libra Full Moon & Total Lunar Eclipse…less than a week before the Cardinal Grand Cross of April 20th-23rd. Monday, the 21st, is the day the radical-disruptor, high frequency Uranus at 13*34 vigorous, impulsive Aries is exactly square the intense, concentrated transformative power of Pluto at 13*34 structured, traditional Capricorn…(more info below).
A Lunar Eclipse acts as a cosmic regulator that maintains balance on Earth, often through crisis situations; the Lunar Eclipse only happens during a Full Moon when Earth, exactly in-between the Sun & Moon, blocks the Sun’s light from the Moon. We could say this is a Full Moon in Hyper-drive…extraordinary stress, tension & accomplishment. It is an opportunity to throw off restrictions of the past indicating a major turning point in our spiritual/psychological growth. This current transformative process involves our electromagnetic Sun at 25*16 active, independent, assertive Aries opposite Full Moon at 25*16 cooperative, partnership-oriented, harmonizing Libra.

The self-aware, initiating Aries Sun is naturally associated with Warrior Mars, the Yang transmitter of courage, confidence, directness & passion. At this time retrograde Mars is in gentle, agreeable Libra at 16*. Not an easy placement for feisty Mars as Libra dislikes discord and can vacillate, hesitate & be indecisive at times. However if pushed too far, this combo can explode in a temper of sudden violence. Easter Sunday, April 20th, starts a potent, complex & intense week of planetary alignments. These impact both our personal stage & the collective on Earth. I have written many times about the 5th Uranus/Pluto square (of 7 total from 2012 to 2015) in previous blogs. See sidebar for more complete information on that. This major life-changing aspect will be happening for these faster moving planets (Mars & Jupiter) to bounce off of during the Grand Cross. Cardinal Grand Cross…April 20th to the 23rd, 2014
Starting on April 20th expansive, intuitive Jupiter, which magnifies whatever it contacts, reaches 13*+ Cancer where it will be opposing Pluto 13*34 Capricorn & squaring both Uranus 13*34 Aries & Mars at 13*+ Libra. Then Mars, moving retrograde opposes Uranus & squares both Pluto & optimistic, generous Jupiter. These mathematical aspects of oppositions & squares reflect challenge, confrontation, tension & stress. They involve the four cardinal signs (which begin each season) & this describes ACTION…conscious change is called for…focused energy toward what is for the highest good of all. What to do? Go with the flow…everything is changing at warp speed…some energies are in the process of crystallization & others are in process of breaking up crystallizations. Remember we signed up for this.

Full Moon Day: Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 4:27 am, CDT: the Sun (conscious self) at 6*52 fiery, self-oriented Aries is exactly opposite 6*52 airy, partner-oriented Libra Moon (emotional & instinctive self). The Full Moon represents a blossoming of the seeds planted in the New Moon conception phase. Everyone feels the Full Moon increase in energy, even animals. Our cellular structure is absorbing different high-frequency electromagnetic waves & we are changing like never before.
We have a stellium of 4 spheres, including Sun, together in the field of passionate, innovative Aries during this dynamic, forceful blast of cosmic power. New territory, bring it on!
Our major luminous transmitter, Sun at 6*52 courageous, risk-taking Aries, is joined by harmonious Venus at 6*33 on one side & unpredictable, liberating Uranus at 8*24 on the other side along with fearless, enthusiastic Mars at 11*42 Aries. Quite a welcoming committee! This group is now intensely challenging our old friend, powerful, transforming Pluto (birth, death, rebirth), which is at 11*31 Capricorn.
The infamous stressful contact (an exact 90*square aspect) between Uranus & Pluto is soon coming up on May 21st, 2013 (their 3rd square out of 7). Let go of your tight grip on reality as it is, or as you think it is, and roll with the changes…the ego part of us doesn’t like it because it’s used to being in control…does NOT want to give it up. The Soul & Spirit within us knows it is time.

The Full Moon in Libra at 6*52 symbolizes our emphasized emotional/instinctual/feeling nature which includes others, the partner, the friends, the family, co-workers, the neighbors, all the animals…whoever the “other” is that makes up the ” we” on this planet…the song ” We are family” by Sister Sledge keeps popping into my head. Optimistic, expansive Jupiter is giving us a helping hand now with its bounty of hope, faith, trust, positiveness, idealism & good will. Thank you Jupe!
Be Calm
April 12, 2013: Pluto turns Direct at 11*35 Capricorn & starts moving forward once again. The few days either side of this date may bring pronounced Plutonion activities to the surface just like an active volcano…transformation, birth, death, regeneration. What is still hidden may now be revealed…memories from our unconscious depths rising up to be released & healed. On the larger scale established structures (world, governments, financial, corporate, religious, etc.) are going through the same deconstructing & reconstructing process too. I see evidence of positive new things happening more & more often. Look at the cool new Pope! Adios, friends….
